About Flirt
Built for the moment you almost said something.
We've all been there — you see someone, feel something, and do nothing. Flirt exists to change that.
The story
It started at a restaurant. The founder spotted a group of women across the room and felt that familiar pull — interest, curiosity, and then the immediate wall: how do you approach a group without it being weird?
Walking up uninvited feels intrusive. Catching someone's eye and hoping they come to you rarely works. And there's no good way to signal interest without putting yourself — or them — in an uncomfortable spot.
Flirt was built to solve exactly that. A way to say 'I noticed you' without the awkwardness of a cold approach — and a mechanic that keeps it equal, so nobody feels put on the spot unless they already feel the same way.
Our mission
Make it easier to act on a real-world moment — without the fear of rejection or awkwardness holding you back.
Mutual or nothing
One-sided interest stays private. Always. We built the whole app around this.
Real proximity
Not strangers on the internet. People actually near you, right now.
Low pressure
No notifications until it's mutual. No one knows you flirted unless they flirt back.
The team
A small, focused team obsessed with making real-world connection feel less scary.

We're building in public — team page dropping at launch.
